Michelle Obama hosted the first White House Fashion Education Workshop on Wednesday, with help from Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and designers Jason Wu, Zac Posen, Lela Rose, Diane von Furstenburg and Maria Cornejo, who were on hand to mentor students from design schools

Though the first lady was wearing a dress designed by Fashion Institute of Technology student Natalya Koval, it was her underwear that got a lot of buzz on Twitter and elsewhere. In praising Spanx founder Sarah Blakely, Obama revealed that she too is a fan. “Spanx is a multibillion-dollar company. ... And we all wear them with pride.” [The Cut]
Athletic apparel label Lululemon wants to appeal more to male customers and plans to begin operating some dedicated men's stores, with the first to open this fall in New York.

Hudson Kroenig, the son of model Brad Kroenig, has been walking runways since he was 3 years old. Now around 6 or 7, he is starring with Joan Smalls in ads for Chanel's cruise 2015 collection. The ads were shot by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld. [Fashion Gone Rogue] [Fashionista]
