Who could be going into the Celebrity Big Brother house? All the rumours

By

Big Brother is just around the corner - we have an eye, a theme and a launch date! But while we're excited about that, it also means Celebrity Big Brother is drawing ever closer, so our thoughts naturally turned to who might be heading into the house this summer.

We've already heard that we could be in for a UK vs US theme this year, but that's nothing without housemates, so we've rounded up the rumours - from the likely to the... not at all likely. Read on to see who might be popping in...

Janice Dickinson

Who? "The world's first supermodel", Janice used to be a very outspoken judge on America's Next Top Model. She's been on I'm a Celebrity, and also hit the headlines recently after alleging that Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her.
The rumour: Janice has been rumoured to be going into the house for ages now, with some reports claiming she signed a £300,000 deal.
Likelihood rating: 4/5. Of all the rumours, this is the one we believe the most.

Keeley Hazell

Who? Keeley is a successful glamour model who has branched into acting (with a spot in Horrible Bosses 2 and small part in Like Crazy).
The rumour: According to the Daily Star, Big Brother bosses want Keeley to boost male ratings (ahem) and have offered her a sizeable pay cheque to do just that.
Likelihood rating: 4/5. Keeley is a recognisable name, and would fit the glamour model mould we're used to having on the show by now.

Eamonn Holmes

Who? Eamonn is a journalist and broadcaster who appears on This Morning and Sky News.
The rumour: Eamonn's made no secret of his love for Big Brother, and even popped up in CBB in January for a task. But he says that while he's been offered the show, his wife Ruth Langsford has banned him from appearing - because she doesn't want people seeing his underwear. That's probably fair.
Likelihood rating: 2/5. You never know what could happen if Eamonn can convince Ruth - but he doesn't really need the show.

Dina Lohan

Who? Lindsay Lohan's mother and manager. Momager, if you must.
The rumour: We've got tired of being excited about the possibility of Lindsay going in the house and then inevitably being disappointed. But her mother? That could actually happen. Dina's caused her fair share of controversies in the past - and she's not exactly had the easiest of relationships with Lindsay either - so we wouldn't be surprised if producers wanted her in the house. Dina's rep has denied it but then they would, wouldn't they?
Likelihood rating: 3/5. It's more likely than Lindsay, anyway.

Martina Olsson & Lauren Richardson

Who? Martina claims that she slept with Zayn Malik (you know, before he left One Direction), while Lauren was snapped holding hands with him but denied any funny business.
The rumour: This smells very much like a 'link anyone in the news to CBB' situation to us. We can't imagine that there's much interest in the duo - after all, anything they did say about Zayn presumably wouldn't make it past Channel 5's lawyers. We can't imagine they'd survive in the house long, either, with Directioners manning the phone lines.
Likelihood rating: 1/5. We just don't see it.

Jeremy Clarkson

Who? Former - sorry, "disgraced former" - Top Gear host and petrolhead.
The rumour: This is another of those "he's free" rumours, which largely seems to have been started by the bookies, so don't hold your breath. We can't imagine Jeremy agreeing to a stint in the house, but with his controversial opinions, producers would surely be happy to have him. Unless they're trying to avoid another Fight Night...
Likelihood rating: 1/5. We can't imagine this is the best post-Top Gear move for Clarkson.

Steve Brookstein

Who? The X Factor's first winner (and he's not very happy about it).
The rumour: Alright, we'll level with you - Steve was on our list of rumours and we now have no memory of how he came to be on it. Certainly, it doesn't look like he's hitting many of the headlines with his housemate potential. But we must have heard it somewhere, so we're leaving it in - after all, isn't it quite believable? And we know Steve has lots and lots of tales to tell - you only need to read his book to know that.
Likelihood rating: 2/5. We appear to have made this rumour up ourselves, but it's still quite believable.

James Hill

Who? James appeared on the last series of The Apprentice but was fired in week eight.
The rumour: Recent reports have suggested that James has already signed a deal to appear in the show - and we can believe it. He was mouthy enough on The Apprentice to be a housemate and sources are already saying he wants to "be a hit with the ladies" and so forth (given that he claimed he'd had a "steamy affair" with fellow candidate Lauren - which she denied - we can believe this too). He's posed for Attitude, so presumably he's not entirely business focused right now - and hey, someone has to follow in Luisa's footsteps.
Likelihood rating: 4/5

Farrah Abraham

Who? Farrah appeared on MTV's hit reality show Teen Mom - and later hit the headlines for making a sex tape.
The rumour: Farrah's apparently been signed up to boost CBB's "sex appeal", and honestly, we can see this happening. Farrah doesn't seem shy about making the headlines (her 'sex tape' was actually a choreographed, planned video starring porn's James Deen) and she seems like typical housemate material, doesn't she?
Likelihood rating: 4/5

Gemma Collins

Who? Gemma is best known for appearing in some show called TOWIE.
The rumour: Look, Gemma's little stint in I'm a Celebrity didn't exactly go to plan (she quit rather swiftly), but recent reports have suggested that she's in a better place now and is keen to enter the CBB house to prove herself to the public. We've certainly become used to seeing TOWIE types on Big Brother, so will she be this year's?
Likelihood rating: 4/5. We can believe this one.

Hypno Dog

© Syco / Thames

Who? A hypnotic dog called Princess (or, er, Hypno Dog) and - presumably - her owner Krystyna Lennon. The duo appeared on Britain's Got Talent recently to apparently hypnotise Ant & Dec and Simon Cowell.
The rumour: Almost as soon as Hypno Dog had been on BGT, rumours popped up that she was being eyed as a potential housemate. It would certainly be a first having a canine housemate, but we're not entirely sure this is going to happen. In fact, we spoke to Krystyna, who told us that the pair had been approached before BGT - but turned it down. So don't get your hopes up.
Likelihood rating: 1/5.

Big Ang

Who? A star of US reality show Mob Wives.
The rumour: Big Ang was apparently lined up to appear in CBB as part of the UK vs US theme, but has had to pull out after having a tumour removed from her throat. So we don't think she'll be appearing this summer, but who knows about the future?
Likelihood rating 1/5 (now).

Celebrity Big Brother will air on Channel 5 later this year. What do you make of the rumours? Let us know who you want to see in the house by leaving your comments below!
