Lily Allen has reportedly been sacked by one of Britain’s top music managers over fears her ‘life is spiralling out of control’.
The
30-year-old is said to have been dropped by managers Scott Rodger and
Henry Village after less than a year of working together.
‘Lily's life is spiralling out of control,’ the insider revealed. ‘Everyone is incredibly worried but she just won't listen.
‘He
[Scott] is one of the most in-demand managers in the world. He tried
hard with Lily but her attitude was all wrong and her new music isn't up
to scratch.’
Despite the singer's initial success, her latest album Sheezus, which came out last year, struggled to sell.
‘After her
last album was a massive flop, she was banking on Scott turning things
around. He made her a lot of money but she's spending like crazy and
everyone wants her to slow down.’
A
representative for the star told MailOnline: 'Lily has parted company
with her managers, a decision that was both mutual and amicable.'
Sheezus
reached No.1 when it was released, but has only shifted about 100,000
copies - compared to It's Not Me, It's You, which was certified over
three times platinum with over 1million sales in the UK alone.
